Terms & Conditions
Air Serbia offers passengers the opportunity to use a dedicated lane at the departure gate when boarding our flights. You will find the conditions of Priority Boarding service here.
Any customer purchasing Air Serbia Priority Boarding service is considered to have read, understood and accepted the Conditions.
Air Serbia would be able to offer Priority Boarding service to all Air Serbia passengers (passengers flying on any Air Serbia operated flight and holding tickets issued on JU ticket stock (tickets beginning with 115)), as long as passenger’s itinerary starts with a flight operated by Air Serbia.
Air Serbia would not be able to offer the service to passengers flying on Air Serbia operated flights, but holding tickets issued on other airlines’ ticket stocks (tickets starting with any number other than 115) and to passengers flying on Air Serbia flights operated by other airlines and holding tickets issued on JU ticket stock (tickets beginning with 115).
Air Serbia does not allow service reservation. Service is to be booked and paid at the moment of making the reservation for it, otherwise Air Serbia would not be able to guarantee service fulfilment.
Priority Boarding could be purchased through airserbia.com, Contact Center, any of Air Serbia offices, through designated travel agents, Air Serbia Web Check-In platform as well as at the check-in counters and service desks outstation wide. It can be purchased up to 45min prior to departure the latest (only at the airport desk check-in counter).
Priority Boarding is purchased per passenger.
In the event of a family or group travel, companion travelers do not get the services free of charge if one of the passengers on the reservation purchased the service (every passenger would have to pay for it separately).
Priority Boarding fee applies equally to adults and children (age 2 to 12). Infants without a seat (babies of up to 2 years of age) are exempted from the fee as long as all accompanying passengers on the same reservation paid priority boarding fee.
Priority Boarding is free of charge for Air Serbia passengers flying business as well as for all Etihad Guest Gold, Platinum or Exclusive members and for their Milemiglia tier equivalents (specifically - Alitalia Freccia Alata, Alitalia Freccia Alata Plus, Alitalia Freccia Alata Plus Per Sempre card holders).
Priority Boarding is available at all stations Air Serbia flies to. However, the service might not have the same delivery process at all stations. In general, priority boarding refers to completing the boarding formalities at dedicated boarding lane. In some stations passengers do not board the aircraft immediately after completing boarding formalities at the boarding gate, but need to be transported to the apron to get onboard the aircraft. This is strictly a decision made by airport management team and might differ from flight to flight. Air Serbia does not have the authority to control this. Hence Air Serbia priority boarding service does not guarantee that passengers who purchased the service would actually board the aircraft with the priority in the event when the passengers need to get transported to the apron to board the aircraft once boarding procedure at the gate is completed. In such cases, Air Serbia priority boarding service does not differ in delivery and does not include providing a dedicated bus for the passengers who purchased priority boarding; transporting the passengers who purchased priority boarding passes with Business class passengers, organizing bus disembarkation at the apron and boarding the aircraft or any other service enhancements compared to the standard service.
Priority boarding service would be delivered only if a dedicated priority boarding lane has been set up. This might not be the case at all stations Air Serbia flies to, and might differ from flight to flight basis based on the specific airport’s operational decisions and reasons. As a general rule, Air Serbia does not offer this service for flights operated by an ATR type aircraft. Air Serbia does not have control over airport’s operational decisions and in cases of last minute changes of the boarding gate/process for Air Serbia flights, Air Serbia is not deemed responsible if the service has not been delivered (even if the passenger previously paid for it). In such cases, passengers are encouraged to contact Air Serbia passenger response representatives. Please keep the original EMD as a valid proof of purchase to be able to refer to in such cases.
Any requests for compensations would be rejected by Air Serbia if submitted later than one month after the date of the flight.
Passengers do not earn additional Etihad Guest points by purchasing and/or using the service.
All passengers who purchased the service are advised to bring along the proof of purchase (in any form - electronic or paper) when travelling. In the event of a system error and/or shutdown, Air Serbia would request its passengers to show a valid proof of purchase otherwise the service would not be delivered. Valid proof of purchase is an EMD. Payment slip transaction is not a valid proof of purchase.
Priority Boarding service refers only to completing boarding formalities at the boarding gate. Any further boarding formalities to be performed post the completion of boarding formalities at the boarding gate are excluded from the service. Rule applies to all stations equally.
Priority Boarding refund terms & conditions are independent from ticket refund conditions.
Once purchased, the service is non-refundable (even in cases of voluntary air ticket cancellation).
In the event of Air Serbia rebooking you to a flight not operated by Air Serbia, previously paid Priority Boarding fee would be refunded.
In the event of a ticket upgrade to higher class of travel, Priority Boarding fee is not forfeit and it could be used to pay for the upgrade (applies to any kind of ticket upgrade). Exceptionally, it could be refunded back to the original form of payment (applies to any type of ticket upgrade except involuntary upgrade).
In the event of a ticket exchange (for reason such as upsell or voluntary travel date change), Priority Boarding gets transferred to the new flight (if available). The passenger could decide to cancel the service at that time and use it to pay for the ticket reissue.
Priority Boarding service is non-transferable.
Any claims for refund of the service cannot be processed on board or at the airport. You would need to contact Air Serbia passenger response representatives. Please keep the original EMD as a valid proof of purchase to be able to refer to in such cases.
Any requests for compensations would be rejected by Air Serbia if submitted later than one month after the date of the flight.
Air Serbia expressly reserves the right in its absolute discretion to discontinue the service at any time or to refuse to sell it to any specific customer and, if sold, to cancel and not deliver the service. Air Serbia will not be liable for any loss or damage suffered by a purchaser resulting from such refusal, cancellation, or denial.
Air Serbia reserves the right to modify the Terms & Conditions of Priority Boarding at any time without giving any prior notice and/ or assigning any reason. The passengers that at the time of the amendment already have bought the service, will be subjected to the Terms & Conditions they accepted when buying the service initially, unless they were informed and accepted amendments to Terms & Conditions.
Air Serbia commits to post any changes to the Terms & Conditions in a written form through airserbia.com.
