Visa exemption in the People’s Republic of China

Air Serbia passengers who need a visa to enter the People's Republic of China now have the option of staying in that country for up to 144 hours without a visa. This exception to the visa regime applies to travelers of certain nationalities who fly from Belgrade to Shanghai and Guangzhou and plan to continue their journey to any destination outside the People's Republic of China.

Visa Exempt Transit Policy

To use this right, the passengers are obliged to apply for exemption from the visa of the Republic of China at the starting point of the journey, when checking in for the flight, and submit, in addition to the passport, complete documentation showing that China is not their final destination. The airline will proceed according to the pre-established procedure provided for the Visa Exempt Transit Policy.
