The Clérigos tower is one of the most imposing symbols of Porto. It stands as proud as a lighthouse and guides visitors to one of the most beautiful panoramic views in the city. This baroque tower from 1753 is an unavoidable stop on the map of every tourist.

Its 75-metre height makes it the tallest building in Porto, and the spiral staircase with 225 steps leads you up above the city rooftops. The interior of this music hall is as impressive as its exterior. The main hall, with its magnificent design, is known for its outstanding acoustics and the ability to host a variety of musical events, from symphony concerts to jazz evenings. In the heart of Porto is the Igreja de São Francisco, a symbol of the city's rich history and artistic value. This sanctuary is decorated in the baroque style with lavish decorations.  You will notice the wealth of details at every step, from the stained glass windows to the monumental tombs, which make the church an awe-inspiring place. The magnificent Sé do Porto stands like a stone guardian over picturesque Porto. The cathedral is located on the highest point of the city and offers an unforgettable view of the city and the River Douro. Built in the 12th century, it has undergone many changes, but has retained its original Romanesque character with Gothic and Baroque elements.

Inside the walls of the cathedral, visitors can discover the rich history of Porto through various art exhibits. From impressive rosettes to wall frescoes and sculptures, every corner of the cathedral exudes history. Chapel of St. Vincent and its marvelous azulejo tiles are only part of the sacred treasures that the cathedral has to offer.

The National Museum is one of the oldest museums in Portugal and is home to some of the country's most important works of art. Housed in the building of the Carrancas Palace, the museum has a collection of works spanning from the 16th century to the present day, including sculptures, paintings, ceramics, furniture and more.

Passing through the halls of this museum, visitors can admire the masterpieces of famous Portuguese artists such as Amadeo de Suza Cardoso and Antonio Carneiro, as well as the works of other European masters. Fundação de Serralves is not only a museum of contemporary art, but also a place where nature, architecture and art merge into one. It is surrounded by over 18 hectares of stunning gardens, so it is at the same time an excellent destination for art lovers and for anyone looking for peace in the city environment. The architectural beauty of the park is reflected in its modernist design, which is the work of the famous architect Alvar Siza.
