Given the distance to be covered, a flight to New York typically takes about ten hours. This may seem long, but it’s worth every minute.
When planning a trip and purchasing tickets, pay special attention to whether the flight is direct or you have a connecting flight. We recommend that you book your tickets at least two months in advance.
There is no end to the tourist season in New York, meaning there isn’t an ideal time of year to visit. The upside is that you have more flexibility in planning your vacation. Finally, as an escape from the asphalt, Central Park stretches on an impressive 341 hectares in the very centre of New York. This green oasis offers plenty of places to relax and have fun. Among the city’s famous toponyms are a number of museums that you should not miss. Both the temporary and permanent exhibitions in them will satisfy the imagination of even the choosiest art lovers.
In the first place is the National Museum of Natural History, which has the largest exhibition of dinosaur skeletons in the world. The world-famous Metropolitan summarizes the entire history of civilisation in one place, from ancient Greece and Egypt to contemporary art, design and fashion. The museum of wax figures represents a kind of wonder of the modern world and an unavoidable stop for lovers of pop culture.

Chinatown is home to the largest Chinese community outside the home country. The Italian Quarter is the site of numerous scenes from the famous Godfather films, while the British Quarter is the ideal place to drink authentic British tea and try British culinary specialties.
