Air Serbia to launch service to Porto on 10 November
On 10 November 2023, Air Serbia will commence a direct service between Belgrade and Porto, adding Portugal’s second-largest city to its destination network. The Serbian national airline will operate Belgrade-Porto flights twice a week, on Mondays and Fridays, with Airbus A319 and A320 planes. Tickets are already available. The promotional price of EUR 59 for the one-way ticket will be valid until 10 October, for trips from 10 November 2023, to 29 March 2024.
“Our destination network was expanded this year with over 20 new cities, including Lisbon. Flights between Belgrade and Portugal’s capital have been quite popular since the beginning, as evidenced by the continuously high load factor. However, in Europe’s westernmost country, there are other charming cities that always attract visitors, and one of them is Porto. You will be able to go on tourist or business trips to that city starting from 10 November via Air Serbia’s direct service,” said Boško Rupić, General Manager Commercial and Strategy at Air Serbia.
Porto is a historic centre in Portugal’s north. It has a long and rich tradition and history but is also a youthful and energetic city. Make sure you visit the Ribeira district, with colourful houses and narrow cobblestone streets. Portuguese charm is at every turn. The Douro River runs through the centre of the city, with six magnificent bridges. Foz, a district with beautiful beaches, is at the mouth of the river. Do not miss gastronomic delights that will stimulate all your senses.
By launching a service on this route, Air Serbia will, via Belgrade, offer good connections between Porto and other cities in its network, such as Athens, Budapest, Copenhagen, Ankara, Istanbul, Larnaca, Ljubljana, Oslo, Bucharest, Prague, Thessaloniki, Skopje, Sofia, Podgorica, Vienna, Zagreb, etc.
