Air Serbia announces new route to Varna
Air Serbia launching a new route from Belgrade to Varna on 1 May, marking the first time the airline has provided a service to this popular summer holiday destination.
The new route will connect Belgrade with Varna, the maritime capital of Bulgaria and a celebrated holiday resort famed for its waterfront promenade and natural mineral spa pools.
The service will start with flights three times a week on Monday, Thursday and Sunday, which will be expanded to four times a week with an additional Saturday service from 16 June, just in time for the peak summer holiday period.
The new route offers convenient connections for passengers through Air Serbia's Belgrade hub at Nikola Tesla Airport to numerous destinations in the region including Tivat, Podgorica, Ljubljana and Budapest and other key Air Serbia destinations such as London, Paris, Amsterdam, Prague, Brussels, Copenhagen, Stockholm, Dusseldorf, Stuttgart, Berlin, Zurich, Vienna, Warsaw, Milan, Moscow and Tel Aviv.
Dane Kondić, Air Serbia Chief Executive Officer, said: "The launch of a new service to Varna is perfectly timed to help connecting passengers enjoy a seamless journey to this popular holiday destination. The increased frequency of service to four times per week from 16 June will be of benefit to holidaymakers throughout the entire region, offering connectivity to mainland Europe and global destinations through our Belgrade hub."
The service will be operated by Air Serbia's ATR 72 characterized by the new Air Serbia livery of red, blue and white.
