Air Serbia introduces additional flights to Istanbul
Due to the great interest of travelers, Air Serbia will increase the number of flights between Belgrade and Istanbul at the beginning of the high season, so that it will fly to the city on Bosporus seven times a week. The national carrier currently operates flights to the popular Turkish destination three times a week – Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.
"The impressive results of the Belgrade - Istanbul route are an indicator of the success of our business strategy and the timely recognition of market opportunities. The increase in flight intensity is not surprising at all, given that it is a popular tourist destination and we are delighted that our passengers will have as many as seven flights a week available," said Jiri Marek, Air Serbia's General Manager Commercial and Strategy.
Air Serbia restored the Istanbul route on 11 December 2019 after a two-and-a-half year break. National carrier’s aircraft are now landing at the new International Airport Istanbul, which was opened in 2018.
