Air Serbia announces new services to Prague
Air Serbia, the national airline of Serbia, has commenced daily flights to Prague, the capital and largest city of the Czech Republic.
The new services, which are operated by a 66 seat ATR 72, have been introduced to serve the point to point market as well as provide seamless connectivity to destinations within the Balkans and Southern Europe.
Air Serbia will operate flights on Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday, departing from Belgrade's Nikola Tesla International Airport at 7.10am and returning from Prague at 9.50am. Flights on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays will depart Belgrade at 6.15pm and return from Prague at 8.55pm.
Dane Kondić, Air Serbia Chief Executive Officer, said: "These exciting new services are in line with our ambitions to continually expand our network and we look forward to the opportunities that will grow from flying to the beautiful city of Prague."
"We are eager to offer our guests new and interesting destinations and we believe flights to Prague will open up even greater benefits across trade, tourism and investment between the two countries."
From summer 2014, Air Serbia via its hub in Belgrade will provide connecting return flights from Prague to Abu Dhabi, the capital of the United Arab Emirates and home to shareholding equity partner, Etihad Airways.
