Air Serbia launches ‘Elevate Play’ free inflight entertainment service

• Elevate Play rolled out across Airbus A319 and A320 fleet
• Movies, TV shows, games and hundreds of songs in Serbian and English
• Content streamed to laptops and Apple and Android devices

Air Serbia, the national airline of the Republic of Serbia, has significantly enhanced its onboard guest experience with the introduction of Elevate Play, a free inflight entertainment streaming service.

The new service enables passengers to enjoy a wide catalogue of Serbian and international films, TV shows and music albums on their own laptops, smartphones and tablets through an in-cabin wireless connection.

Elevate Play has been rolled out across the airline’s narrow-body Airbus A319 and A320 aircraft and is now available on flights between Belgrade and Abu Dhabi, London, Moscow and Paris, as well as on other routes operated by these aircraft types.

In addition to complimentary access to Elevate Play, guests can purchase an internet and mobile connectivity service called Wi-Fly to stay in touch with family and friends as well as browse the internet and social media during the flight.

From today, Air Serbia guests can pay for a Wi-Fly package only with a credit card, making purchases easier and more convenient. The airline will no longer accept Wi-Fly vouchers or cash.

Dane Kondić, Chief Executive Officer of Air Serbia, said: “We know that inflight entertainment makes a world of difference to guests and are naturally excited to launch our Elevate Play service.

“This service, which is available on all our A319 and A320 jets, provides travellers with hundreds of hours of entertainment in English and Serbian, from Hollywood blockbusters to all-time Serbian and other classic films from the region.

“We have selected content with the duration of our short and medium-haul flights in mind, and which appeals to a wide range of travellers, from families with children who want to watch cartoons, to those who would rather listen to the latest chart hits.

“Providing the best possible guest experience is a key part of our strategy to become the leading airline in the region and Elevate Play fits into this vision perfectly.”

In addition to launching Elevate Play, Air Serbia will soon reveal more details of the inflight entertainment systems on its wide-body Airbus A330 flights between Belgrade and New York, which will have personal TV monitors at every seat in both cabins.
