Air Serbia introduces summer flights to Malta
Air Serbia will introduce twice a week seasonal services to Malta during summer season.
The flights to Malta international airport are scheduled to start on 13 June and will operate until 19 September.
While this popular holiday island destination has been served by one seasonal flight per week, the frequency will now increase to two seasonal flights per week due to increasing demand for the service.
Dane Kondić, Chief Executive Officer of Air Serbia, said: "The time-schedule is excellent for tourists flying from Belgrade to Malta for summer holidays. It also facilitates easy onward connections via Air Serbia’s Belgrade hub to important European markets such as Vienna, Rome, Zurich, Brussels and Paris."
The historic island of Malta, located in the middle of the Mediterranean Sea is made up of small towns with population of over 400,000 inhabitants. The Maltese archipelago consists of three islands: Malta, Gozo and Comino.
