Air Serbia attracts a record-breaking number of candidates at cabin crew recruitment day
22 February 2015
Air Serbia today hosted its fifth recruitment day event at the Crown Plaza Hotel in Belgrade, after it had recently announced a nation-wide employment drive for new members of its outstanding cabin crew, internationally recognized for its hospitality and inviting smiles.
This morning the organizers were pleasantly surprised when they saw that this recruitment day is set to significantly greater interest than any previous employment event organized by the national airline, when an impressive 1500 candidates showed up at the start of the event.
All candidates got the chance to submit their CVs, formally apply for the much sought after positions and to meet dedicated Air Serbia recruitment professionals, with whom they had the opportunity to discuss, both in Serbian and English, their professional interests, to discover the thrill and dynamics of serving guests at an altitude of 12.000 meters and learn the benefits of the state-of-the art professional training Air Serbia offers its cabin crew members. Candidates also had the opportunity to meet present members of Air Serbia's top management team and get a first-hand perspective of Air Serbia's operations and the professional opportunities on offer.
Dane Kondić, Chief Executive Officer of Air Serbia, said: "We are thrilled to see such interest from young Serbian nationals to become members of our truly amazing cabin crew team. We are happy to recognize this winning combination of dynamism and precision, with a positive attitude and a true passion for hospitality in many of the candidates we have seen today. We have no doubt that among them we will be able to identify the right individuals to complement and enrich our teams. The record interest we have had today shows that Air Serbia is inspiring confidence in our young professionals and becoming an employer of choice in Serbia. We are equally proud that the national airline is developing at such a rapid pace that it is creating more and more employment opportunities for the citizens of Serbia and, in doing so, contributing to the Serbian economy, an important part of our overall mandate."
