Air Serbia launches first Etihad Airways partners branded retail shop

Air Serbia, the national airline of the Republic of Serbia, today opened the first Etihad Airways Partners branded retail shop. Located on the ground floor of Air Serbia's new headquarters in Belgrade, this is the first retail shop of its kind in the world.
The facility is equipped to serve travellers on behalf of all airline members of the partnership - airberlin, Alitalia, Air Serbia, Air Seychelles, Jet Airways, Etihad Regional, Etihad Airways and NIKI. The retail shop will effectively support growing customer interest, enhance customer choice within a combined offering, and further establish the recently launched Etihad Airways Partners brand in Serbia and the wider region.
An official ribbon-cutting ceremony was held at the entrance of the new retail shop in the presence of Air Serbia and Etihad Airways management and media representatives.
Etihad Airways Partners is a brand which brings together like-minded airlines to offer guests more choice through improved networks and schedules and enhanced frequent flyer benefits. This partnership results in synergies and efficiencies for participating airlines on the one side, and enhanced network choice, service and frequent flyer benefits for travellers on the other.
Dane Kondić, Chief Executive Officer of Air Serbia, said: "I am delighted to open our innovative new retail shop, which represents not only Air Serbia, but also Etihad Airways Partners. This is an exciting opportunity for us and for our guests, who will be able to take care of all their needs in one convenient location, regardless of the airline with which they are flying, and take advantage of the products and services offered by the group of airlines".
The retail shop will also display for sale aircraft models represented in the current Air Serbia fleet, Airbus A320 and ATR-72 aircraft, as well as other Air Serbia and Etihad Airways Partners' souvenirs.
The Air Serbia Etihad Airways Partners retail shop is located in Jurija Gagarina 12 in New Belgrade, Belville area. The retail shop will be open five days a week, from Monday to Friday, between 10h and 18h.
