Final places up for grabs as the Air Serbia tennis initiative gets into full swing

Air Serbia, the national airline of the Republic of Serbia, has extended the registration period for the hugely popular Air Serbia Tennis Initiative to allow children who were not in Belgrade over the summer to participate.

Launched at the start of August, the tennis clinics have been extremely popular during the summer months with dozens of children learning and honing their tennis skills at the free coaching sessions which have been created by the national airline.

Taking place at the Novak Training Centre in Belgrade, the Air Serbia Tennis Initiative is a fun and inspiring way for Serbian youngsters to try their hand at one of the country's most popular sports.

The campaign is run in collaboration with professional coaches from the Tennis Federation of Serbia and provides comprehensive training on all aspects of the game, including serving, the main strokes, as well as on-court strategies.

Dane Kondić, Chief Executive Officer of Air Serbia, said: "The Air Serbia Tennis Initiative is proving to be one of the highlights of the summer for Serbian children and we are proud to be making a positive contribution to the community as well as encouraging children to be fit and healthy.

"The youngsters have been thrilled to take part in the training sessions and, judging from the feedback, there is a very talented pool of enthusiastic young players who are going to continue playing the sport.

"As children continue to return from the summer holidays, now is a great time to take advantage of the free lessons and we hope more parents now seize the opportunity to apply."

To apply for the training sessions, which run until October and are designed for school-aged children up to ten years old, parents and legal guardians should download and submit the registration form on teniskisavez.com to the Tennis Federation of Serbia.
