To enter the People's Republic of China, travellers with Serbian citizenship need a passport. Visa-free stay is limited to a period of 30 days. Citizens of other countries generally need a visa to enter China, so we advise you to obtain detailed information about current visa regimes.
Air Serbia passengers who need a visa to enter the People's Republic of China now have the option of staying in that country for up to 144 hours without a visa. The exception to the visa regime applies to passengers who fly from Belgrade to Shanghai or Guangzhou and plan to continue their journey to any destination outside the People's Republic of China.
Mandarin Chinese, however a number of other dialects are spoken throughout China which can differ so much that the speakers do not understand each other. Most of the local population speaks English, especially in tourist areas.
