Cancellation of flights to Berlin and Frankfurt due to industrial action at airports in Germany
08 March 2025
The German trade union Verdi has called on employees at eleven airports in Germany to start a one-day industrial action on Monday, 10 March 2025. A large number of different services at the airports in Berlin and Frankfurt decided to join the strike, as a result of which Air Serbia was forced to cancel flights between Belgrade and Berlin, and Belgrade and Frankfurt scheduled for Monday.
The Serbian national airline regrets the changes to the flight schedule that will occur as a result of the strike in Berlin and Frankfurt and is doing everything in its power to mitigate the consequences for passengers from cancelled flights. Passengers who lose connections due to the industrial action will be redirected to alternative flights.
Air Serbia is actively monitoring the situation at airports in Germany and will inform passengers of any changes promptly.
For more information, passengers are asked to call the Air Serbia Contact Center at 0800 111 528 from Serbia, at +381 11 311 21 23 from abroad, to visit the website airserbia.com or the Air Serbia pages on social networks.
