Air Serbia expands its fleet

Air Serbia welcomed its new Embraer E-195 aircraft today at Belgrade Nikola Tesla Airport. The latest addition to the Serbian national carrier’s fleet bears the registration YU-ATC, was manufactured in 2014, and features a configuration of 118 seats. After completing all the necessary procedures, the aircraft will enter service and begin flying to European cities within Air Serbia’s network.
“As part of our strategic vision, Air Serbia continuously modernises its fleet to provide passengers with a high level of service. Since the beginning of 2022, our fleet has been strengthened with 18 new aircraft, marking a significant step towards improving operational efficiency and capacity. New and more modern aircraft allow us to expand operations and connect Belgrade even better with European destinations. With the arrival of the new Embraer, we will offer passengers an enhanced level of comfort and convenience during their journey,” said Jiri Marek, CEO of Air Serbia.
The new aircraft of the national airline of the Republic of Serbia is equipped with General Electric engines with a thrust of 82.29 kN, a wingspan of 28.72 metres, and a length of approximately 38.67 metres. It can fly at a maximum altitude of 41,000 feet.
Air Serbia’s fleet currently consists of a total of 29 aircraft, including four wide-body Airbus A330-200s, three A320-200s, ten A319-100s, two Embraer E-195s, and ten ATR 72-600 aircraft.
